With the HRM, you will be able to record your active-HR and the cardio zones.

If you are recording gym-workout, you will need both the wristband and shoe-pod. Because, during the recording of the gym-workout, Biostrap will attempt to classify the exercises performed (once you train them), compute velocity, and consistency.

You are recording Cycling, Treadmill, Running, Elliptical, Stair-stepper; you will need to wear shoe-pod because data from the shoepod will be used to compute the cadence.

If you are recording outdoor running OR any other cardio activity, you can either use wristband OR show-pod.

You would need the wristband to recording Meditation because Biostrap will record biometric readings during your meditation session.
