Heart Rate Variability

Simply put, it is the variation in time between two consecutive heartbeats. The differences in the time duration of the peaks between successive heartbeats help us to calculate HRV.

Studies suggest that high heart rate variability indicates good health and high fitness levels. On the other hand, low heart rate variability indicates burnout or a stressful lifestyle. Moreover, HRV and age have an inverse relationship. Aging reduces the deviation from the baseline and hence leads to a decreased HRV.

Resting Calories: Calories you burn just by existing.
Active Calories:
Calories burned while performing activities (working out or walking)
Workout Calories: Calories burned while working out (subset of Active Calories)
Steps Calories:  Calories burned by walking (subset of Active Calories)

 Respiratory Rate is a measurement of estimated breaths per minute

Oxygen saturation is a term referring to the fraction of oxygen-saturated hemoglobin relative to total hemoglobin.

Normal blood oxygen levels in humans are considered 95-100 percent. If the level is below 90 percent, it is considered low resulting in hypoxemia.

Oxygen levels below 80 percent may compromise organ function, such as the brain and heart, and should be promptly addressed.
