How do I charge my Biostrap devices, and how long will the battery last?

Keeping your Biostrap devices charged is easy!

We recommend charging your device daily and keeping your battery above 20% at all times.

You can always check the battery status of your devices in on the Settings page in the Biostrap app.

With normal usage, you can expect:

  • 1-2 days from the wristband
  • 1-3 days from the activity pod

It is totally normal for the devices stop charging before reaching 100%, and settle between 90-99%.

The wristband device can be charged while inside the strap, or by itself.

The activity pod should have "Biostrap" facing up while charging.

We have three kinds of chargers:

With all chargers, use a micro-USB cord to plug into a power source.

Single Square Charger

  • The white light will blink a few times when connected to power
  • One device can be charged at a time
  • When you put the device on the charger, the white light will pulsate when charging
  • We recommend using the micro-USB port, a micro-USB cord, and a dedicated USB power block plugged into the wall directly
  • It may take up to 10 seconds to start charging. You can verify the charging progress on the Settings page of the Biostrap app

Dual Square Charger

  • The lights will turn a white/blue color when connected to power
  • The wristband device goes in the longer slot, and the activity pod in the shorter slot.
  • When you place the devices on the charger, the white light will turn orange when charging
  • The lights will blink or remain white if not charging properly, or if the device is not placed properly

Round Charger

  • The lights will turn an orange color when connected to power
  • One device can be charged at a time
  • When you place the device on the charger, the light will turn blue while charging

HAVING TROUBLE?

If either device isn't charging, try unplugging and replugging the charger cord.

If the wristband isn't charging on the Dual Charger, try putting the activity pod device on the wristband slot of the charger base.

Contact support at support@biostrap.com if you are unable to properly charge your device while following these troubleshooting steps, and please include photos of how you are charging the device for the fastest support.
